JOB DESCRIPTION
• Responsible for the overall quality of food.
• To ensure full working knowledge and capability to supervise, correct and demonstrate all duties and tasks in the assigned place of work as per the Master Task List. Please note that master tasks lists are reviewed and changed on a regular basis reflecting change in trends, guest expectations and operating philosophy.
• To assign responsibilities to subordinates, implementing multitasking principle and to check their performance periodically.
• To ensure that the par stocks for all operating equipment, supplies, inventoried items are strictly adhered to and that the outlet is adequately equipped.
• To liaison with the Food and Beverage Service on daily operations and quality control.
• To have thorough understanding and knowledge of all Food and Beverage items in the menu and the ability to recommend Food & Beverage combinations and up sell alternatives as necessary.
• To handle guest enquiries in a courteous and efficient manner and reports guest complaints to his supervisor if no immediate solution can be found and assure follow up with guests.
• To develop the safety guidelines for usage of all equipment and its implementation.
EDUCATION QUALIFICATION
• Professional Degree.
