Aimed at independent artists looking to launch their music careers, this 3 module online program equips students with all the tools necessary to excel in the ever emerging digital music industry. Students will learn the foundation of music theory, music production and music business. Apart from the world class faculty at SAM, students also get access to Guru Randhawa's Whiz Course and launchpad. With a capstone project that includes students composing, producing and publishing their own music, the Artist Certificate Program ensures that aspiring artists launch their music careers at the end of the program. What will learn in this course?

This course is designed for aspiring music artists looking to enhance their understanding in music theory, composition, production and music management. Graduating students will publish their own music on multiple music streaming platforms.

Is the course theoretical?

This course will allow you to learn music theory and its practical applications through a combination of pre-recorded and live sessions.

What is the type of certificate awarded?

Graduating students will get multiple certificates featuring a joint certificate from Swarnabhoomi Academy of Music - Whiz Leage and Guru Randhawa. The certificate is also recognized by the Australian Institute of Music.

How many classes are offered?

The course consists of over 30 individual lessons spread across 3 modules

What all do I need to take the course?

A passion for music, a computer/smartphone and an instrument (optional for vocalists)

How are the classes conducted?

All course content can be accessed and tracked on the Whiz League Platform. Live sessions will be conducted on Zoom / Google Meet.

If I have doubts how do I clear them?

Students can clear doubts during the live sessions. Moreover, each student is assigned a program mentor who will track the progress and assist students in completing the course

How will I be evaluated?

There will be a weekly MCQ quiz for self-evaluation after each module and a capstone project at the end of the program. 50% Quizzes 30% Capstone Project 20% Class Participation

What value does my certificate hold?

The certificates are valid across India as a music education benchmark. Moreover, upto 5 credits are transferrable to SAM's Diploma program or the Bachelor's program in association with Australian Institute of Music

What are the career options after completing this course?

Upon completion of the course, students can launch their careers as independent artists, music educators and sessions musicians
